मनुष्य के अंदर यही एक पीड़ा है। इस पीड़ा को निवृत्त करने के लिए ऋषियों ने अध्यात्मवाद के तथ्यों की खोज की। जैसे विज्ञान अपने भौतिक जगत में खोज करता है; ऐसे ही अध्यात्मिक पुरुषों ने आंतरिक जगत् में रिसर्च की, खोज की और हमारे सामने ऐसे तथ्य खोल कर रखें कि जिनसे जीवन में शांति आये। जैसे विज्ञान के बहुत सारे तथ्य उन्हीं को ज्ञात होते हैं,जो कि वैज्ञानिक होते हैं; परंतु, उनका बहुत कुछ लाभ है अवैज्ञानिक लोग भी उठाते हैं, पंखे का निर्माण करना या बिजली का विज्ञान आप नहीं जानते; पर उसका लाभ तो उठाते हैं? इसी प्रकार से आध्यात्मिक जगत के विषय में भी कुछ खोजे हैं, जिनके संबंध में आप न भी जानते हों, पर मान लें, तो थोड़ा बहुत लाभ होता ही है। लेकिन, पूर्ण लाभ उठाने के लिए आपको स्वयं बहुत बड़ा वैज्ञानिक होना पड़ेगा; उस आध्यात्मिक जगत में स्वयं प्रवेश कर लेना पड़ेगा। क्योंकि इसे जाने बिना ब्रह्म को समझे बिना इस क्या किसी भी जन्म में शाश्वत शांति पाना असंभव है। इसलिए बार बार गुरुदेव सिर्फ एक ही मार्ग, एक ही ज्ञान की ओर इशारा करते हैं सतत समझाते हैं जिनके अच्छे प्रारब्ध और संचित कर्म जमा है वो इसी क्षण या इसी जन्म में समझ जायेंगे जिनके नही अगर समझने की कोशिश करेंगे जो यहाँ से यात्रा तो शुरू हो ही जाएगी। फिर आपके ऊपर है कि चल रहे हो या दौड़ रहे हो या सद्गुरु रूपी जहाज लेकर उड़ रहे हो।
