He was a celibate. In 1999 he was working as a secretary in the Bharat Swabhiman Trust and with Baba Ramdev at Pantjali Yoga Pith Haridwar. In 1999, Rajiv Dixit met Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev, who was at the time to spread yoga in the country. Now after meeting Swami Ramdev, he had worked tirelessly for ten years to make India self-reliant and indigenous. After ten years, both of them together established “Bharat Swabhimaan” in 2009. The post of national secretary of this “Bharat Swabhimaan” was given to Rajiv Dixit. Baba Ramdev was also so inspired by Rajiv ji’s lectures that he gave many lectures in his Patanjali Yogpeeth so that his talk could reach the people of the whole country through TV.

This brought his popularity to a climax and millions of people of the country started listening to his lectures. His lectures were in such simple language which was very easy to understand. His lectures showed the real history of India and the importance of Swadeshi to the people of the country. Under this Bharat Swabhimaan, he had disclosed many foreign companies, which have looted India for many years. He also had objections to political parties and used to attack them openly. In the last 20 years, Rajiv Bhai has awakened people about what he learned from Indian history. Why did the British come to India, why did they enslave us, why did the British destroy Indian culture and civilization, our education and industries, and how. It gave detailed information on this so that we cannot become slaves again. In these twenty years, Rajiv Bhai gave more than 12000 lectures, some of which are available with us. Today more than 5000 foreign companies are robbing us by doing business in India. Started the Swadeshi movement against him. The first detailed list of indigenous and foreign goods in the country was prepared and presented a request to adopt Swadeshi. In 1991, against the Dunkel proposals, the movement of public awareness turned around and took out trains. Campaigned legal proceedings against beverages like Coca Cola and Pepsi.

Dixit supported the movement to open a chain of Swadeshi General Stores, where only Indian made goods are being sold.
He believed in Swadeshi and started movements like Swadeshi Movement and Azadi Bachao Andolan. He addressed a rally of over 70,000 people led by Swadeshi Jagran Manch in New Delhi. He also took the helm of the event held in Calcutta which was supported and promoted by various organizations and prominent personalities and was celebrated all over India on the eve of the 150th anniversary of the 1857 War of Indian Independence.
On 30 November 2010, it was said that Dixit was first taken to a government hospital in Bhilai after a sudden heart attack and was then admitted to Apollo BSR Hospital. Preparations were being made to take him to Delhi but at the same time local doctors declared him dead. But this was not his death, but some say his close friend Baba Ramdev did it. Doctors said that they constantly avoided allopathic treatment. Doctors also said that Dixit was adamant about homeopathic medicines. He had also become better for some time due to some medicines and treatment in the hospital, but once again he suffered a severe attack in the night which proved fatal for him.
This dialogue is undisputed untrue because he had checked his body many times, he did not have it at all. And in a heart attack, the body is never black and blue. He was given a slow killing poison.
