वह इन्द्रियों से अतीत सत्य को जानने के कारण, इन्द्रियातीत आनंद को पा लेने के कारण, इन्द्रीयों के द्वारा पाने की इच्छा से रहित हो जाता है। उसे इन्द्रियों के द्वारा जो कुछ मिलता है, वह नरक लगता है।

यदि तुम्हारा मन इच्छाएं नहीं छोड़ता, तो तुम मन से तादात्म्य अ‌‍र्थात मन से सम्बन्ध तोड़ दो। मन कहीं भी जिए,वह अपनी पूर्ति करता रहे।मन की इच्छा की पूर्ति न करो। बल्कि ,मन की इच्छा का त्याग कर दो।


पूज्य गुरुदेव समझाते हैं यदि, तुम्हें असंगता का और साक्षीपने का बोध हो जाएः तो जीवन में तुम्हें शान्ति, आनंद और प्रसन्नता मिलने लग जाएगी। इसलिए हम आपको बार बार कहते हैं कि ध्यान के क्षणों में किसी भी सत्र पर भोक्ता मत बनो।भोक्ता हमेशा दुखी होगा। वह चाहे बाहर का आनंद ले, चाहे भीतर का; जब मन आनंद लेने लगता है, तो उसके बिना फिर वह रह ही नहीं पाता। इसलिए, अपने मन को जानो और मन से उपरांत हो जाओ। उसको महत्त्व मत दो। तुम मन की उपेक्षा करो।जब तुम अपने आप से मतलब रखोगे, तो तुम देखोगे कि सब शांत हो गया। यही ज्ञान का अभिप्राय है।
