मन में राग और द्वेष का त्याग करो। सुनते रहो, देखते रहो, देखना मना नहीं है, सुनना मना नहीं है। जो कुछ होता है होने दो पर होने वाली क्रियाओं के प्रति, विषयों के प्रति, राग और द्वेष का त्याग करो l अच्छा बुरा यह सोचना बंद करो। फिर बताएं…….. छोटा बच्चा जब किसी को देखता है तो अच्छा बुरा नहीं देखता बस देखता है। हम जब भी देखते हैं या तो अच्छा देखते हैं या बुरा देखते हैं, अच्छा सुनते हैं या बुरा सुनते हैं, यजुर्वेद  में एक प्रार्थना की गई है – यदि देखना सुनना ही है तो क्या करें? “भद्रं कर्णेभि: श्रूणुयाम् देवा”  हम कल्याण वाली बातें कानों से सुने, आंखों से कल्याण जिनके दर्शनों से होता है उनके दर्शन करें। इसलिए रामायण में कह दिया “संत दरस जिमि पातक टरही” संत के दर्शन से पातक टल जाते हैं l अर्थात “हम दिव्य लोगों का दर्शन करें, इससे हमारे मन की बुरी वृत्तियां खत्म होगी।” आंखों से अच्छा देखे, कानों से अच्छा सुने और हम हाथों से कौन सा काम करें? यज्ञ करें! निष्काम भावना से, पवित्र भावना से यज्ञ करें! जब यज्ञ करते हैं तब स्वाहा कहके आहुति डालते हैं  ऐसे ही हम अपने हाथों से यज्ञ करें, पूजा करें। भगवान ने गीता में एक बात और कही – “स्वकर्मणा तो व्यर्थ सिद्धिं विंदंति मानवः”  अपनी इंद्रियों के द्वारा शुभ कर्म करवाना। अपने कर्म से हम भगवान की पूजा करें माने हम जो भी करें वह भगवान की पूजा बन जाए। मंदिर में जाकर जो करते हैं वही पूजा नहीं सुबह से शाम तक हर कर्म को भगवान के लिए करें। “शुभ कर्मणा समाव्यया” अपने कर्मों से उसकी पूजा करें। हमारा उठना, हमारा बोलना, हमारा करना, हमारा सोचना जैसे सब भगवान के लिए हो! जैसे कोई मंदिर के लिए फूल लेने गया तो फूल लेना पूजा के अंतर्गत है। यद्यपि जा कहां रहा है? बगीचे में। पर फुल किसलिए? पूजा के लिए जा रहा है। तो मार्ग में जाना भी पूजा हो गई। भगवान राम फुल लेने गए “लेन प्रसून गए दो भाई” फुल लेने के लिए बगीचे में गए। किसके लिए? भगवान के लिए! गुरुदेव की पूजा के लिए! तो अभिप्राय है और तो हम सोचते नहीं। शादी हो गई, शादी भी भगवान के लिए करो। आप शादी करोगे, पुत्र पैदा होगा तो वह भगवान की सृष्टि को चलाने के लिए होगा, राष्ट्र के काम के लिए होगा। इसलिए हम शादी क्यों करते हैं की राष्ट्र की सेवा करें। शादी भी यज्ञ हो जाए!  बल्कि गीता में तो यह कह दिया कि जो खाओ वह भी पूजा बन जाए! भोजन को अंदर की अग्नि में आहूत करना यज्ञ है। क्या होगा? उससे रस रक्त बनेगा। इससे शरीर चलेगा और शरीर क्या करेगा? भगवान की भक्ति करेगा! तो हमारा जीवन ईश्वर की आराधना हो जाए! मंदिर जाना भी आवश्यक है, यह प्रतीक है। भगवान की पूजा करना यह भी। पर धीरे-धीरे पूरा जीवन ही भगवान की पूजा में लगा दे। कथा सुने। क्यों? क्योंकी कथा सुनने से ऐसी दृष्टि मिलेगी की पूरा जीवन ही पूजा बन जाएगा।  इसलिए खाना पूजा, खिलौना पूजा, शादी पूजा, बच्चों का पढ़ना पढ़ाना पूजा! “यदि पूजा करना  सीखना है तो सत्संग करो” तभी तो आएगा। ‘अपने कर्मों से भगवान की पूजा करो!” आपको लगता होगा कि भगवान के मंदिर गए तो ही पूजा होती है पर यहां यह भाव नहीं है।
