आप मरे जग प्रलय
पहले तुम्हारा अज्ञान मर जाए, फिर पीछे ज्ञान भी मर जाएगा। ज्ञान भी बचता नहीं है। पहले तुम्हारा अहंकार मर जाए, पीछे परमात्मा भी मर जाएगा अर्थात् परमात्मा भी अहंकार के साथ ही खत्म होता है। अहंकार के कारण ही भगवान् की तलाश है कि वह कहीं होगा। जिस दिन अहंकार मर जाएगा, उस दिन भगवान् भी किसी दुनिया में नहीं मिलेगा, न ढूंढना पड़ेगा। उस दिन भगवान् भी गए। तुम हो, तो भगवान् भी है। तुम्हारा अहंकार मरेगा, तो भगवान् भी नहीं रहेगा। फिर जो रह जाएगा, उसे भगवान् न कर पाओगे, “मैं” न कह पाओगे। जब “मैं” हूं, तो भगवान् कहूं; दो हैं , तब तक कहूं। पर जब दो ही न रहे, तो भगवान् बचा कि भक्त बचा? क्या कहोगे? यदि भक्त कहोगे, तो कोई भगवान् होगा। बिना भगवान् के कोई भक्त नहीं होता। यदि कहो कि भगवान् बचा तो भगवान् अकेले किसका भगवान्? यदि भक्त नहीं बचा, तो किसका है भगवान्? भगवान भी किसी का होता है ।
ईश्वर माने किसी का मालिक। यदि कोई कहे कि प्रजा न बचेगी, राजा बच जायेगा। यह वाक्य बिल्कुल गलत है। यदि प्रजा नहीं बचेगी, तो राजा कैसे बचेगा? यदि कोई कहे कि प्रजा भर बचेगी, राजा न बचेगा। तो प्रजा होती किसकी है? वह प्रजा प्रजा ही नहीं यदि राजा न हो। प्रजा तो उसी को कहते हैं, जो कि शासन में हो। इसीलिए, भक्त बचेगा, तो भगवान् बचेगा और भगवान बचेगा, तो भक्त बचेगा। एक चला गया, तो दूसरा अपने – आप साफ हो जाएगा।
अब बताओ तुम मरना चाहते हो या भगवान् को मारना चाहते हो? गुरु को मारना चाहते हो कि तुम मरना चाहते हो? किसमें ज्यादा अच्छाई है? तुम कहोगे कि भगवान् ही मर जाए, तो अच्छा है। हम बचे रहें । किंतु , भगवान् का मारा जाना बड़ा कठिन है। भगवान कहते हैं कि जब तक तुम उनके मारने के लिए जिओगे, तब तक वे जबरदस्ती जिंदा रहेंगे। तुम्हारे जिंदा रहने से भी वे जिंदा हैं। यदि तुम भगवान् को मारने के लिए जीते रहोगे; तो कितना ही मारो, पर भगवान् मरेंगे नहीं । यदि चेले जीते रहें , तो यह सत्य है कि गुरु तमाम पैदा हो जाएंगे। इसीलिए, ज्यादा अच्छा यह है कि किसी को मारने से पहले तुम स्वयं मर जाओ। “आप मरे जग प्रलय” ऐसा हमने सुना है। तुम मर गए, तो भगवान् भी मर गया, मुक्ति भी मर गई मर गई, मन भी मर गया, अशांति भी मर गई और शांति भी खत्म। अधमरे में मिल जाएगी मुक्ति , अधमरे में मिल जाएंगे भगवान्। पूरे मर जाओगे, तो न भगवान् मिलेंगे और न तुम रहोगे।
भगवान् थोड़ा-थोड़ा मरने से मिल जाते हैं; पूरे मरने पर नहीं मिलते और बिल्कुल बचने पर भी नहीं मिलते। पूरे जो बचते हैं, उन्हें भी भगवान् नहीं मिलते। और जो पूरे मर जाते हैं, उन्हें भी भगवान् नहीं मिलते। मिलना और मिलाना अधमरों का है। जो अपने को पूर्ण बचाए हैं, वे तड़पते रहें; उन्हें भगवान नहीं मिलते। यदि पूरे मर जावेंगे, तो फिर मिलेंगे किसको? इसीलिए, यह मिलने – मिलाने का भाव ही बीच में रहता है। जो जानते हैं, वे यही जानते हैं कि क्या मिलना है और क्या किससे मिलना है।
