श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता में अनेक तरह के विषय आते हैं जिससे हमें सीखने को मिलता है। आज एक यह सीखने को मिलेगा की जैसी हो भवितव्यता तैसी मिले सहाय जैसा होना होता है वैसे सहयोग करने वाले मिलते हैं। आपने जावे कहां पर ताहि तहां ले जाए।। चूंकि कंस की मृत्यु के लिए भगवान का जन्म होना है तो आपने सुना ही है कि पहले वह बहन को ही मार देना चाहता था। पर सलाह देने वालों ने कहा कि बच्चे को मार देना। बहन को क्यों मार रहे हो? तो सोचा कि चलो आठवें बच्चे के लिए कहा है तो आठवें को मार देंगे। तो किसी ने कह दिया कि बीच में भी आठवां हो सकता है। तो वह तो  एक एक करके सभी बच्चे मारने लगा। यह सब होते हुए भी हुआ वही जो  होना था। तो जो होना है वह होता ही है। दूसरा है भगवान के जन्म का विषय भारत यद्यपि वेदांत और अध्यात्मिक ज्ञानी गुरुओं का देश है, बहुत लोग अवतार भी मानते हैं पर  हमारी दृष्टि से अवतार नहीं माने तो हम बहुत कुछ खो देंगे। हमारा सब का जन्म  वासनाओं से होता है। कोई ना कोई पहले वासना थी जो यहां आए इस जन्म में कोई वासना होगी तो अगला जन्म लेंगे। यदि कल्याण की अधिक वासना होगी, मोक्ष की वासना होगी तो ज्ञान हो जाएगा और मुक्ति प्राप्त करेंगे।

पर भगवान कोई अपनी वासना से नहीं आते। उनको जब अपने भक्तों का उद्धार करना होता है तब वह अवतार लेते हैं। कहते हैं ना निज इच्छा निर्मित तनु अपनी इच्छा से शरीर बना लेना। हमारा शरीर हमारी इच्छा से नहीं वासना से बना। परंतु भगवान को जो जो करना है वैसी ही सामर्थ्य लेकर के आए। हम लोग चाहे भी तो नहीं कर सकते। इसलिए भगवान का, अवतारों का जो शरीर है वह आग में नहीं जलता, गड्ढे में फेंकने पर भी नहीं मरता, तो ऐसा शरीर हमारा तो नहीं है, हम आग से जल जाएंगे। हमारा शरीर यदि पहाड़ी से फेंक दिया जाए तो बिगड़ जाएगा। तो जो भगवान हैं वह जैसी जरूरत वैसा शरीर लेकर अपनी इच्छा से आते हैं। हमारा शरीर सब तरह की क्षमता लेकर नहीं आया इसलिए भगवान के स्मरण का, उनके दर्शन का, उनके सुमिरन का, उनके ध्यान का बड़ा लाभ होता है। यही लाभ उठाते उठाते आप जिस दिन परमात्मा को समझ गए और अपनी आत्मा में उसको एकीकार मान लिया जान लिया उस दिन तुम भी परमात्मा हो जाओगे। तुम भी अवतार लोगे लोगों का कल्याण करने न कि पुरानी चाहों को इस जन्म में पूरा करने आओगे और नई चाहें बना के फिर नया देह पाओगे।
